A well-arranged airport transfer begins before you travel. The driver needs the correct airport, terminal if known, flight details and the full hotel address. Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Hurghada each serve a different mix of city hotels and outlying accommodation, so a city name alone is not enough to define the journey or quote the right vehicle.
Choose a vehicle for both passengers and luggage, not seats alone. Share bulky bags, child-seat requests and any access needs in advance. Your confirmation should explain where to meet, how to contact the local coordinator and what happens if the flight changes. Private transport covers the agreed road journey; it does not imply assistance inside restricted airport areas.
Give complete arrival details
Provide the flight number, travel date and arrival airport together, particularly if your journey crosses midnight. Use the accommodation’s full name and address, and include a contact number you can use after landing. Confirm whether the meeting point is outside arrivals or elsewhere, and how waiting time and flight changes are handled under the agreed booking.
Plan departure from the terminal backwards
For an outbound transfer, share your flight information and the airline’s recommended arrival requirement. The pickup plan must include road travel and margin for variable conditions. Add time for collecting other travellers only if agreed. A resort described as being in Hurghada may be some distance along the coast, which changes the practical pickup arrangement.

Is the vehicle shared with other bookings?
A private transfer is reserved for your booking party on the confirmed route. Ask about the actual vehicle capacity and luggage allowance rather than assuming a particular model will be supplied.
Can I add sightseeing during a transfer?
Request it in advance as a different service. Waiting, parking, guiding and entrance tickets are not automatically included in an airport-to-hotel transfer, and sightseeing may not fit your flight or check-in arrangements.
