Step ashore at ancient El Kab, Edfu's temple, and the sandstone gorge of Gebel el-Silsila while enjoying peaceful days on the wooden open deck.

Small boat, practical questions
Confirm cabin layout, bathroom arrangements, stairs, air-conditioning availability and power arrangements on the actual boat. A smaller vessel may not offer the facilities found on a larger cruise ship.
Sailing is not a timetable promise
Wind, current, moorings and navigation instructions shape each day. Ask how the selected dahabiya travels when wind is unsuitable; uninterrupted travel under sail is not promised.
Landing and guiding arrangements
Some small-boat excursions operate as a shared group for all guests. If you request private guiding, it must be checked against the operator’s arrangements and written into the quote; continuous private accompaniment is separate.
The written quotation takes precedence over this suggested programme. Check the final services, guiding arrangements and any optional costs before confirming.
Good to know.
Does a dahabiya booking give us the whole boat?
Not in this proposal. You book the quoted cabin on a shared boat. A charter needs an explicit separate quotation and availability check.
Are Luxor’s main temples included?
Not automatically. The proposed boarding is at Esna after a road transfer from Luxor. Add a Luxor hotel night and separately quoted sightseeing if you want the East and West Banks.
Are the smaller landings guaranteed?
No. El Kab, Gebel el-Silsila and other proposed calls depend on the selected operator route and access conditions. Your confirmed programme identifies intended visits and the terms governing changes.
Where will we be picked up?
The embarkation point stated in your confirmed sailing proposal. Your exact meeting details are agreed before travel.
How is my booking confirmed?
